WonderWeft™ Care & Maintenance

    • Don’t Vigorously scrub or over-cleanse hair extensions. 

    • Do: Limit washes to 1-2 times per week, using gentle cleansing techniques to maintain the integrity of your extensions.

    • Don’t leave saltwater or chlorine in your hair after swimming for extended periods. 

    • Do: Rinse hair immediately after swimming and use a leave-in conditioner beforehand to protect your extensions from pool chemicals and saltwater.

    • Don’t let hair air-dry after getting it wet. 

    • Do: Always dry hair attachments 100% to prevent band swelling, which can cause breakdown or matting around the attachment zone.

    • Don’t pull on extensions with too much tension when styling. 

    • Do: Use loose braids or low ponytails when working out or doing strenuous activities to avoid excessive pulling on attachments, and gently brush from ends to roots using the Platinum Seamless extension brush at least twice daily. Be sure to brush between rows to avoid matting and tangling.

    • Don’t pick at extension attachments, as this can loosen the connection or pull out natural hair. 

    • Do: Schedule regular move-up or refit appointments to keep extensions secure and in the best condition.

    • Don’t put sunglasses or eyeglasses on top of your head. 

    • Do: Place them on your shirt collar or use an eyeglass chain instead to avoid snagging on your extensions.

    • Don’t allow spray tans to touch your extensions before rinsing. 

    • Do: Rinse thoroughly after spray tanning to prevent any contact with the extensions.
